Leadership team

We have a small core team, led by Pam Bateson, Thrive’s founder and CEO.



Pam began her career in J Sainsbury’s and then the NHS, before training in lean engineering and applying these principles in manufacturing. Pam first qualified as a coach in 1998 , becoming a master coach in 2003, and set up her own management consultancy, Zinnia Consulting in 1999.

She founded Thrive Partners in 2015 with a vision to democratise coaching. She believes that we have a responsibility to listen and learn from all the daily conversations that take place, and use this careful listening to make changes to make people's work and personal lives happier, healthier, easier and more productive.

Pam is a Commissioner representing Entrepreneurs for The Legatum Institute’s Global Index of Economic Openness, and travelled the world as part of the Mayor of London’s International Business Programme. She has given keynote speeches at events that include Women of Silicon Roundabout and HR Vision.

Brahman Narendran ACA, Finance Director

Brahman, joining Thrive in Feb 2019, has made a career of building effective business models and scaling early stage companies through high growth. He started his journey at KPMG and recently, as Finance Director, has taken two start-up’s from Seed to Series Pre-B (Elder) and Seed to Acquisition (SNI).


Lesley Allan, Operations & Customer Success

Lesley brings together experience from 15 years in agency and 5 years in other fast-growth start-ups. She leads on all aspects of customer success and client engagement, working closely with MyThrive enterprise leads – as well as many aspects of financial and legal contracting.

Ed Herbert, Technology and AI

Ed leads on the development of our MyThrive platform working directly with clients and our developers to enhance user experience. He has 20 years’ experience in digital agency and start-up roles. He is supported by a dedicated development team.

Zoe Creighton, Coach Community Management

Zoe looks after all of our coach recruitment, training and engagement. She’s an experienced coach. Prior to joining Thrive she had roles with Unilever and P&G.


Harry Edwards, Business Development Executive

Harry joined Thrive in March 2019. His background is in Executive Search and Sales, specifically within the professional services, luxury and start-up space. Passionate about the democratisation of coaching across society, Harry heads up new business relationships.
